On Monday of this week, our school hosted members of the Executive Leadership Team of the Anglo-Chinese School Singapore. Expressing interest in how we are designing our Strategic Roadmap, and how we are integrating innovation and well-being into this journey, we spent two hours discussing the challenges and the excitement that is education today.

The start of the academic year sees a flurry of student and parent activity as we reestablish our sense of community. And while community is an essential element of the ICS identity, this rush of activity is more than just social. It is the beginning of a deep and intentional process of partnering with families to improve student learning.

From the picturesque landscapes that surround our school to the vibrant minds that inhabit our classrooms, we are a community bonded by a shared goal: to learn and to grow together. Our school is more than a place of education; it is also a platform for cultural exchange and international friendship.

The ICS Residential Field Trip week acts as the closing crescendo to the academic school year and a wonderful time to look back on the past 10 months.

Today is the last day of school for our Grade 10 students. In a wonderful assembly coordinated by Ms. Hampton this morning, we celebrated their arrival at this very significant milestone, the end of their IB Middle Years Programme.

Who Are You, Grade 12? This was a question for us all to reflect upon last Friday. A momentous day, it was the ‘last day of classes’ for Grade 12.

On Friday last week, we were delighted to host the 32nd Beyond COP 21 environmental symposium. 

It has been a busy week in the life of the School with the Environmental Symposium, the Grade 5 PYP Exhibition, the IB DP Visual Arts Exhibition, and the lead-up to our April holidays.
