Parents' Association
Parents are welcomed into a strong and supportive community. With families from 55 countries, our community is vibrant, engaging, and offers a valuable social network.
The ICS Parents' Association works diligently to ensure that all families are made to feel welcome and part of our community. Integrating into a new culture can be difficult. We recognise this and work closely with the PA to make sure that our families feel part of the ICS community as quickly as possible.
The ICS Parents’ Association (PA) is an important part of the school and the ICS community. All parents and guardians of ICS students are members of the PA. The PA's purpose is to enhance the children's educational experience, provide a social and supportive environment for international families and build a spirit of community.
The ICS PA also supports several causes and charities. The Parents’ Association is proud to support our scholarship students from Nepal as they embark on higher educational studies following their graduation from ICS. These students are selected from our partner school SMD in Kathmandu, Nepal. They study at ICS for their IB Diplomas through Grade 11 and 12, living with ICS host families. Our Association strives to support these students so they can continue their studies at university before returning home to their communities where they are committed to making a difference.
At ICS, the Parents’ Association is pleased to support the community by putting on various events throughout the school year including the Welcome Back picnic, Book Fairs, Halloween Party, Winter Market, Zurich Walking Tour, the International Festival, workshops, PA Conversations with the ICS Leadership Team and many other exciting happenings throughout the school year.
