A new addition to the ICS Cafeteria is Mr Jürgen Graupe, who is charged with overseeing the kitchen in preparing healthy foods and beverages for students and staff.

ICS Middle School students were given an opportunity to explore offsite nature destinations and participate in field-based learning.

The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) highly regards the arts and promotes creative thinking and innovation. During a recent visit to the Tinguely Museum in Basel, Exploration, Experimentation and Reasoning became key areas of focus for ICS Grade 1 students.

Through student engagement in the classroom and a personalised tour of the Kunsthaus Zurich, ICS Kindergarten 1 children conceptualised a display of their own artworks, highlighting in the process a stellar example of Student Directive Learning.

Combining service to the community with curriculum-based learning is a core component of the International Baccalaureate (IB). It is inspiring to see a group of our Grade 11 students committed to a spirit of service in planning ICS' 5^th annual Knit-a-thon.
