After an intense four-month rehearsal schedule, our Secondary students took to the stage in dynamic performances of "What Are They Like?" this week.
This year's Secondary Drama production of 'What Are They Like?', by Lucinda Coxon, saw ICS student actors performing before the ICS Community in the Main Hall in both scripted and devised performances on Wednesday 14 March (16:00 & 19:00), and Thursday 15 and Friday 16 March (19:00).
In the 'What Are They Like?' production, a superb cast of Secondary students explored themes that can be difficult to discuss and find factual information about. The production provided opportunities for opening a dialogue about topics that we wish could sometimes be swept under the carpet.
Student teams of costume, set and make-up designers, as well as the backstage Student Performing Arts Krew (S.P.A.R.K) of sound, lighting and video operators also provided their support for this year's superb Secondary Drama production.
The level of focus and engagement of the students, the manner in which that the production intertwined scripted and original student-devised work, and the level of creativity and quality of the performance was impressive.
We congratulate our Secondary students and the entire Drama production team on their excellent performances and a job well done!
