On Friday, 21 April, ICS hosted our first-ever Spring University Fair. We had over 40 representatives from universities in Europe, the UK and North America. Parents and students from ICS and other international and local schools attended. The energy was vibrant, exciting and informative.
The ICS Design department has been working with Grade 6 to 10 students, aiding them to be independent and critical thinkers in problem-solving. In this article, Daniel Bush, Secondary Head of Design Technology, describes how when students embark on their first projects, they learn how to tackle problems independently.
The Round Square International Conference returned to in-person gatherings, bringing together approximately 800 student delegates from 50 countries. A number of ICS Grade 11 pupils participated in the annual summit, set amidst the historic surroundings of Oxford University.
On the 28-29 March, members of the ICS community were able to view student work through an exhibition. Through the PYP Exhibition, students came to understand the responsibilities associated with being internationally minded and helping to create a better and more peaceful world.
On the 24-25 of March, the Swiss Group of International Schools organisation held its first conference since 2019. As a recently elected board member to SGIS, ICS Head of School Lucy M.
