The School Day

Registration is at 8:35 a.m. each morning. If students arrive at school after registration, they sign in the Late Book outside the Secondary Office or DSC Office. After 11:00 a.m. they are marked as absent for that day. Unexplained absence must be followed up with a written note provided from home.

For students in Grades 11 and 12, there is also a Period 8 on a Monday and Wednesday, running from 3.30 - 4.15 pm. Students who do not have lessons scheduled at those times are able to leave school after Period 7 if they wish.

Chimes will sound at the end of each period.

Assemblies

Secondary assemblies will be scheduled, usually to coincide with tutorial periods.
