The Cross-Country Teams offer students in Grades 2-12 the chance to take part in a competitive running team. All students have the opportunity to represent the school during the season at both school-based and public running events. The Cross-Country programme takes place in the autumn (fall) season.
In Grade 2, students are introduced to running in a lunchtime training programme that is shorter and more suited to their abilities as beginner runners.
Students in Grades 3-5 train after school for longer distances (1-2 kilometres). Those who are capable are extended through further circuit work involving more challenging terrains.
The Middle School and High School teams (Grades 6-12) train after school twice a week. Middle School distances are 3-3.5 km; High Schoolers run 5-5.5 kilometres.
