The Role of Counsellors
Our Counsellors support and advise students so that they can reach their academic, social and emotional potential.
The Counsellors’ duties are counselling students, consulting with parents, teachers and other specialists and facilitating a team approach so that the needs of the students are met. Counselling sessions are kept confidential.
Ms Rachel Suery and Ms Alina Wrona-Eden work with Primary students and Ms Alina Wrona-Eden also works with Grades 6-8 students. Ms Lindsay Landmark works as the Grade 9 – 12 Counsellor. Ms Rachel Doell oversees University and Vocational Counselling and works with families and students on post-school options and university applications.
Working alongside our counsellors, from time to time we bring in outside experts to advise and educate students, parents and staff on key issues such as internet safety and substance abuse.
